WOMEN IN GOVERNANCE, RISK & COMPLIANCE AWARDS – CEO OF THE YEAR

The Women in Governance, Risk and Compliance Awards recognises, celebrates and supports females across GRC sectors, championing their peers and advocates, and helps foster the next generation of GRC business leaders.

So we are thrilled to announce that our Chief Executive Officer, Sumayyah Khan, has been nominated for the CEO of the Year by the Women in Governance, Risk & Compliance Series.

Pivotal to the success of Lexnis , she has been a true visionary who not only knows the way but shows the way.

With her mantra of leading by example, it is her hard work, integrity and sincerity that have been the reason for this nomination on this platform that cherishes the contribution of women across GRC sectors.

Studies show only 5% of FTSE 100 CEOs are women!

The Importance of Woman Leaders in Business

Studies suggest that only 5% of FTSE 100 CEOs are women. The FTSE 250 is even further behind, with just 2%. Furthermore, 7% of Fortune 500 CEOs are women.

The Women in Governance Awards have made it their mission to create a platform for women in Governance, Risk and Compliance to be recognised, celebrated and supported by their peers, and we are proud to have this opportunity to help set the precedent and be part of the change, showing our workforce through action, that equality matters. Being a Nominee for CEO of the Year, is therefore a great honour and a remarkable achievement for all the nominees.

These Awards showcase the role models, advocates and mentors, as well as the inspirational women and companies building and leading in the world of GRC.

However, this initiative is not only about supporting those already working within GRC – they are also on a mission to support the next generation of GRC leaders.

A panel of distinguished judges, including previous winners and those leading change within the industry, will evaluate attendees from around the world, learning about their stories and the efforts they have undertaken to improve the industry.
